EICR & Fixed Wire Testing
A full condition report on your wiring, coded to BS 7671. Usually recommended every ten years for owner-occupied homes; certificate included in the price.
Much of Peacehaven was built in the last century, and plenty of its bungalows still keep their original boards and wiring. An EICR tells you plainly where yours stands, in a report we actually explain.
Talk to a specialistPart P registered, with City & Guilds qualified electricians doing the inspecting; your certificate is issued under a recognised national scheme.
Every circuit is inspected and coded to the current edition of BS 7671, so decades-old wiring is judged against today's standard.
We carry £2,000,000 of insurance cover, in place before anyone lifts a fuse board lid or a floorboard in your home.
The phone line is answered around the clock, so questions about an inspection or a worrying report never wait until morning.
Peacehaven grew along its clifftop through the twentieth century, and much of the town remains the bungalows and family homes built then. A house of that era may have been rewired since, or it may still be running on its first installation. An EICR (an Electrical Installation Condition Report) is the recognised way to find out which, without guesswork.
The tell-tale signs tend to sit at the fuse board. Plenty of mid-century bungalows still carry the board fitted when they were built (sometimes with rewireable fuses rather than modern protective devices), feeding cable that has quietly done its job for decades. That does not automatically make a home unsafe, but insulation, connections and earthing arrangements all age, and an inspection is how you learn which of them needs attention.
EICR Pro is the electrical safety certificate service of Power Pros Electricians, working across Sussex. Our electricians are City & Guilds qualified, we are Part P registered, and every inspection is carried out and coded to the current edition of BS 7671. Quotes are itemised before any work begins, certificates are included in the price, and reports are explained in plain English.
We can usually attend within a day, often the same day, and every quote is itemised before any work starts.

Letting a Peacehaven property? Rented homes in England need an EICR at least every five years. We test, certify and explain the result in plain English.
Buying one of the town's older bungalows? A homebuyer EICR tells you whether the wiring needs attention before you commit, not after you move in.
Original boards with rewireable fuses lack the protection modern consumer units provide. We replace them with RCD-protected boards, tested and certified to BS 7671.
If your report lists C1 or C2 faults, we quote for the fixes item by item, carry them out and certify the work. No vague estimates.
When a bungalow's wiring genuinely reaches the end of its era, a full or partial rewire is the honest answer, quoted item by item and certified on completion.
If your Peacehaven home is still running on the wiring it was built with, it has earned an inspection. Call any time (the line is answered 24/7) and we will quote before anything starts.
